Sweet Nantez carrots and Hello all – We’ve had another cold snap and we lost some Salad Bowl lettuce as we didn’t get them covered, we just ran out of time. We do, however, have arugula, India curly mustard greens this week. We have a few carrots left after we ate a lot of them as we were harvesting! Happy New Year everyone. We are back in the garden after 2 weeks off and things look wonderful. The Meyer lemons are golden and gorgeous. We have a lot of beautiful Tetra dill, cilantro, rosemary, chives, thyme and mint. The arugula continues to go crazy, we have so much so come and get it. The Our dried herbs make great stocking stuffers for your loved ones. We dry whatever harvested herbs we have leftover from the market each week, plus we harvest herbs as they near the end of their season. We have an abundance of dried basil that we’ve harvested ahead of this cold weather. These herbs keep well Hi all – We will have a lot of Meyer Lemons at market tomorrow. Urban Harvest Eastside is hosting a citrus tasting. Try any number of locally-grown citrus and just try to pick a favorite. We will also have very spicy arugula and mustard greens. Herbs this week include dill, cilantro, rosemary, basil, spearmint, oregano, Our Thanksgiving offerings at tomorrow’s Eastside Market: Meyer Lemons, Swiss Chard, Arugula, Mustard Greens, Eggplant, Cilantro, Dill, Rosemary, Oregano and assorted Mints. It will be a beautiful table, it’s amazing what a little rain and cool temps can do for a harvest! The rains came and the fall breezes are here, so it should be a beautiful morning at the Urban Harvest Farmers Market at Eastside. We have a variety of seedlings Hello all. We will be at the Urban Harvest Farmers Market this coming Saturday with arugula, sweet potato leaves, Georgia Jet sweet potatoes, basil, rosemary, Texas tarragon, oregano, chives and thyme. We open at 8 a.m. get there early. |
